Den klistrande ytan säkerställer ett vattentätt montage då den klistrar ihop med fotplåten och underlagstäckningen för att undvika att vatten kryper upp bakvägen, ovan fotplåten till råsponten/skivmaterialet. Haloten Fotplåtsremsa har en stomme av polyester och är inte svetsbar.
